Companian animals are living beings that have been domesticated to depend on and live beside humans. To them, their owner, and the home they've grown accustomed to are often their entire world, we are their family because we stripped them from their biological family. To an animal that has been lost or abandoned, they are stranded in a world of lost insticts where they have no family or friends and no means of communication.
